What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a precise complementary therapy. It is not thought of as an alternative to conventional medicine, but as complementary to any medical treatment being received.

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy based on the theory that different parts of the feet correspond with different areas of the body, organs and glands.

During the treatment, gentle finger and thumb pressure is applied to specific areas on the feet that affect certain reflex areas of the body, helping to re-balance areas which need attention. This helps to stimulate the nerve endings in the body allowing any energy blockages to be released, therefore improving the flow of energy in the body.
