MORE ABOUT KERI

I started as a youngster as my parents always took part in sports and activities, so I was encouraged to keep active and really enjoyed it, so health and fitness became a big part of my life from an early age. I then progressed to teaching aerobic classes part time from the age of about 19.  I truly loved being in this positive environment.

When I was 26 I moved to London to start a full-time career in health and fitness management and thoroughly enjoyed working at different health clubs, teaching and gaining experience and knowledge to help others along with progressing with my qualifications to become the best I could be.

A few years later I moved back home and decided to become a Pilates teacher to bring all the fitness knowledge together with a mind, body connection. This was one of the best decisions I made as I feel I have helped and encouraged others to take part in something they might not have thought was for them. Pilates is for everyone.

Pilates has especially helped me over the last year along with support and help from John when I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. The journey has been really difficult but I am now at a point where I can guide and help others in the same situation. Fibromyalgia is a very complex and painful syndrome but with a positive mind and healthy outlook, things can become easier and life can start to be good again, I am testament of that.

John and I are a very strong team and we both believe that health is our wealth – with a good diet and regular exercise/activity we can achieve a better life. It’s all about the lifestyle change, not just a weekly or monthly change. It takes time and the first step is the hardest but once you start to see and feel the benefits you will want to keep going.
