Director, Head Trainer

John is the founder and owner of Studio 4orce and has had a strong interest in health, well-being and sport for over 20 years, started as an amateur boxer and regular gym goer. After setting up the company by building the bespoke private PT Studio in Hythe Avenue, he is now our Head Trainer and Director and has helped build up our growing number of clients. As well as Personal Training, John is a fully qualified Exercise Referral Specialist.

I am so happy I have chosen to take a career in something I am so passionate about and feel lucky to call my passion a job.

I decided to make Personal Training a full time career just over 10 years ago after teaching Boxing to youngsters as this was so rewarding to see the progression and confidence of this kids grow, that when other people/parents started saying to me that I would make a great Personal Trainer, which I always wanted to do but never thought I would have the time to take the qualifications as I had two jobs at the time and so didn’t think I could make it a full time career.

After carefully considering this for years, I then took the plunge by furthering my education on to Levels 2, 3, 4 and then onto GP Referral and Level 4 Clinical Practitioner qualification in obesity and diabetes and I have never looked back.  I have worked in gyms and physiotherapy clinics previously, gaining invaluable experience which gave me the confidence to open my own successful private studio over five years ago, to now expanding to Studio 4orce PT & Wellness Centre as the Director and Head Trainer.

I pride my clients training standards as high as my own giving them the best motivation, education, support and encouragement and goal setting with top of the range equipment in a fantastic, private and bespoke brand new training facility. I compete in various events all year round and strive to be in the best shape I can possibly be in for the importance of my quality of life and I project this onto my standard of training to get the best possible results for my clients goals.
