Tai Chi/Qigong is a set of eighteen movements which can be performed sitting or standing.
Shibashi Qigong movements focus on health and well-being by promoting the flow of qi (life force energy) through the meridians. The movements are repetitive and can therefore stand on their own or combined with the full set which flow gently from one to another helping to achieve inner calmness and well-being when practiced regularly.
The exercise is gentle, easy to learn and can be performed whatever your age and where required can be adapted for those who are less mobile.
It has many health benefits:

- Helps to improve balance
- Helps to reduce stress and anxiety
- Helps to improve flexibility and mental activity
I have been learning and teaching Tai Chi/Qigong for almost 15 years and hold both Tai Chi teacher and Qigong for Health Professional qualifications.
